Between the lines

Him : What do you do when you miss someone?

Her  : Depends on how bad I miss the guy.

Him : Put it this way; you miss him to the point that every muscle in your body hurts.

Her  : I sleep it away.

Him : Tried that. Didn’t work.

Her  : That’s because you’re a crazy insomniac.

Him : Look who’s talking.

Her  : Sleep it away. Trust me, it’ll go away.

Him : Trust me. It won’t.

Her  : I don’t know what else to suggest.

Him : How about asking me who she is.

Her  : You’ll tell me if you’d want me to know.

Him : Do me a favour. Just ask.

Her  : Okay, who is she?

Him : She’s talking to me right now.

What I’m trying to say is, Things aren’t all so tangible and say-able as people would usually have us believe; most things are unsay-able, they happen in a space that no word has ever entered.

the only dream worth having is to dream that you will live while you alive and die only when you are dead. to love, to be loved. to never forget your insignificance. to never get used to the unspeakable violence and vulgar disparity of the life around you. to seek joy in the saddest place. to pursue beauty in its lair. to never simplify what is complicated and complicate what is simple. to respect strength, never power. above all to watch. to try and understand. to never look away and never, never to forget.
